Carlos Lopez, Filmmaker




Carlos Lopez is a multi-faced filmmaker with over a decade of experience in all stages of production: directing, producing, editing, shooting and writing.  His latest work includes "Ghosting the Party," which premiered at the 2017 Nashville Film Festival and was the recipient of the Special Jury Prize for Exuberance, Vision and Naughtiness.  Carlos is a producer of “The Procedure,” recipient of the Special Jury Prize for Best Short Fiction: U.S. at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival. His work also earned the Grand Jury Prize at the 2016 Sync Music Video Festival. 


He has directed/produced music videos for top independent music labels and artists in Seattle, Portland and Los Angeles, such as Sub Pop, Hardly Art, Kill Rock Stars, Barsuk, Suicide Squeeze and In The Red. His videos have had exclusive online premieres for publications such as Esquire, Entertainment Weekly, Spin, NPR and Vice. Carlos has also produced content for agencies such as POSSIBLE.
